Always download Trezor Suite from official sources. Verify checksums and signatures where provided to ensure the package you downloaded has not been tampered with.
Verification tip: after download, compare file checksums (SHA256) against official values and check PGP signatures if available.
Setting up Trezor Suite
- Install and launch Trezor Suite. Connect your Trezor device using the supplied USB cable.
- Follow the guided setup: install firmware if prompted, then create a new wallet or recover an existing one from your recovery seed.
- Write down your recovery seed on paper or use a metal backup. Store it offline in a secure location.
- Create a PIN for device unlock and consider using an optional passphrase for additional account separation.
Important: never enter your recovery seed into a computer, phone, or cloud service. Trezor Suite will never ask you to type your seed into the app.

Trezor Suite acts as the secure bridge between your hardware device and the web. Typical workflows include:
- Signing transactions: transactions are created in the Suite or dApp, then signed on the Trezor device display for confirmation.
